Piper MelkonianPiper opened the Knitting Knook in 2009. Bringing her lifetime knitting passion to a tight-knit community. She's built a creative oasis for area knitters and visitors. Whether she's headed on vacation, running errands or relaxing by the pool, she always has a knitting project or two to keep her busy.
She lives in Fox Point with her husband of 30 years and has three children. When she's not knitting samples for the shop, Piper enjoys making knit goods for family and friends. In her free time Piper loves to read and host parties at her home with friends & neighbors. |

MaryMary is formally trained in fashion design with a degree from Mount Mary College. She has the knowledge and creativity to create her own patterns. To see some of Mary's work you just need to look around the shop. She arranges the displays and creates all the holiday decorations, out of yarn of course. Mary has four daughters and loves to play tennis in her free time.
DoraDora has been an avid knitter for over half of her life, she enjoys designing her own patterns and always likes to have a pair of socks to knit on nearby. Working at the Knitting Knook allows her to assist people in finding the perfect yarn for their project which is one of her favorite parts of the job. When not knitting she can be found playing hurdy gurdy or drinking copious amounts of coffee.
