Piper opened the Knitting Knook in 2009. Bringing her lifetime knitting passion to a tight-knit community. She's built a creative oasis for area knitters and visitors. Whether she's headed on vacation, running errands or relaxing by the pool, she always has a knitting project or two to keep her busy.
She lives in Fox Point with her husband of 30 years and has three children. When she's not knitting samples for the shop, Piper enjoys making knit goods for family and friends. In her free time Piper loves to read and host parties at her home with friends & neighbors.

Mary is formally trained in fashion design with a degree from Mount Mary College. She has the knowledge and creativity to create her own patterns. To see some of Mary's work you just need to look around the shop. She arranges the displays and creates all the holiday decorations, out of yarn of course. Mary has four daughters and loves to play tennis in her free time.
Dora has been an avid knitter for over half of her life, she enjoys designing her own patterns and always likes to have a pair of socks to knit on nearby. Working at the Knitting Knook allows her to assist people in finding the perfect yarn for their project which is one of her favorite parts of the job. When not knitting she can be found playing hurdy gurdy or drinking copious amounts of coffee.
Lony has over 20 years experience in needlepointing and knitting, and especially likes working on smaller needles. When Lony isn't at the shop, she enjoys traveling with her husband and family, her grandson keeps her young. One of their favorite spots is Jamaica.
Sara has been with the Knitting Knook since it opened in 2009 and currently loves to knit socks. When she's not in the shop she loves traveling all over the world. But no matter where she is she'll always have a few knitting projects with her. Sara's also an ambidextrous knitter, though prefers knitting left handed.
Debby knit her first sweater at the age of 12 after learning to knit from her grandma when she was just 4. After supplying everyone in her family with enough knitwear to last a lifetime, Debby started donating hats & scarves to charities around Wisconsin. She loves that knitting brings people together & the connections she’s made through leading classes at Knitting Knook
Kristin creates a variety of projects from needlepoint to knitwear. She loves making sweaters to wear and does all the finishing for knit goods at Knitting Knook. In her free time she curls in the winter and plays golf through the warmer months.
